There's something about the little locks of hair
Not seen beneath the flowing fabrics
Of her black woolen gown
And the loose pantaloons that hide but promise
austere curves yet curves nonetheless

The hair grows long and dark and messy and
sexy and made up in a careful way so to look
much different than it seems
Aloofness is effect desired for desire and it
works
O boy, how it works.

The city outside is big and gray and the walls of this gallery
are not different and the sudden apparition of this black
soft aery hovering sight should come as no surprise
It isn't.

But it works.
O boy, how it works.
